Rosemary Marin, a trial lawyer for more than 30 years and certified mediator, lives her passion daily by practicing law. She decided as a high school freshman that she wanted to become a lawyer after participating in the Judicial Branch of Youth In Government. Ms. Marin thrives when partnering with employers to follow the law and do the right thing with their employees, while protecting their businesses. Equally as important is her commitment to philanthropic work and community service, to the Bar, non-profit organizations, and her faith community. In the company of her husband, two grown children, extended family, and fur babies, Ms. Marin enjoys playing the flute, traveling, hiking, biking, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Fernandez v. YISD. Victory in administrative trial and appeal before the Texas Education Agency, upholding termination of teacher contract for good cause.
Ysleta Teachers Association/TSTA/NEW and Teri Sanchez, on behalf of all affected members v. Ysleta ISD. Victory before Texas Education Agency regarding teachers’ (exempt employees) dispute of District’s right to require a 40-hour workweek.
Garcia v. Levi Strauss &Co. (State Court). Motion for Summary Judgment granted and upheld, dismissing workers’ compensation retaliation claim because employer articulated a legitimate business reason for the action taken and Plaintiff was unable to meet her burden of proving the reason was a pretext for discrimination.
