Luis Gregorio Magaña is an associate attorney practicing in creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and restructuring, and real estate law. Born and raised in El Paso, he earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law, where he served as a staff editor for the Law Review, was a member of the Board of Advocates, and served on the Executive Board of the Hispanic Law Student Association. Luis also earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a minor in Sociology, cum laude, from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. His editorial and research contributions have been published by Thomson Reuters in Uniform Commercial Code Law Letter and White and Summers’ Uniform Commercial Code treatise. Guided by a philosophy of discipline and persistence, he approaches each matter with determination and strategic focus. Outside of work, Luis enjoys motorsports, judo, and travel, and counts completing the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage among his most memorable experiences.
