EL PASO, TX – Melissa A. Baeza, an attorney with the ScottHulse law firm, has been elected and sworn in to serve on the 2013 – 2014 El Paso Bar Association (EPBA) Board of Directors for a three-year term.
The EPBA serves the legal community and public of El Paso County, Texas by promoting high standards of integrity, honor, and courtesy within the legal profession, and fostering positive relations among the community, lawyers and the judiciary.
Ms. Baeza is a Texas Tech University School of Law graduate. Her practice encompasses construction law and commercial litigation. She advises and represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and engineers, in all phases of public and private construction. Ms. Baeza also handles various types of commercial disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty claims, professional negligence, violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, breach of contract claims, and fraud claims.
