EL PASO, TX – Attorney Melissa A. Baeza presented to the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) at their monthly meeting on June 20, 2018. The CFMA is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the educational needs of today’s construction financial professionals.
Ms. Baeza addressed significant clauses found in construction contracts and reviewed the interpretation of such clauses by state and federal courts in Texas and the resulting risk to owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
As an attorney in ScottHulse’s Construction Law practice group, Ms. Baeza has advised and represented owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and engineers in contract review and drafting and also contract and tort litigation.
