Associate Attorney – Litigation

ScottHulse PC is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 1+ years of substantive experience in litigation.

This is an opportunity to be an integral member of one of the region’s leading litigation practice teams, which provides a full spectrum of litigation services to local, regional, and national businesses in both the public and private sectors. The Firm’s litigation section has enjoyed the envious reputation for aggressive representation with a high level of success on behalf of its diverse clientele. Our litigation attorneys in El Paso and Las Cruces have represented clients in a myriad of matters, including antitrust, commercial, labor and employment, workers’ compensation, insurance defense, healthcare and medical malpractice defense, trademark infringement, property and landlord-tenant claims, and creditors’ rights, to name a few.

Litigation associates work directly with the chair of the practice group and other shareholders. The associate who is hired for this position will be challenged and rewarded by an accelerated learning track with immediate hands-on client contact. Successful candidates should have litigation experience with legal research, analysis, and drafting of complex memoranda as well as motions and briefs. Ideal candidates should also have strong litigation skills, including some trial and pre-trial experience, as well as experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and counseling clients on matters related to litigation.
