Blake Downey, an associate attorney at the ScottHulse Law Firm, was appointed to serve as an at-large member of the El Paso Downtown Management District Grant Program Review Committee. The Downtown Management District has established a variety of grant programs that will match private investment dollars for certain improvements. The committee reviews grant applications and makes recommendations to the board concerning downtown grant programs. Downey, works in the ScottHulse litigation section, focusing largely on labor and employment, complex commercial litigation, shareholder rights, and business disputes.
